Juliet’s News

TONIC 5 is now available with a whole new cocktail of stories from Tea with an edge to tulip vodka. Copies here: https://thetonicmag.com/

I’m delighted to have won an award as editor of Tonic in the British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) awards 2022.

I’ve been travelling a bit less - but hoping to change that now. The reason is partly explained in this article which might, I hope, also help others avoid cancer.

I did get to do some travelling in 2022-23: local (see Roman Richborough) and further afield (see Saudi art) - and more to come before the end of the year: Guernsey, Barbados, Croatia and Malta (leading tours and starting to update the Bradt Guide).

Also been chairing tribunals for the Health & Care Professions Council, contributing to COT Scientific Advisory Committee and just joined another health-related government Scientific Advisory Committee, the COC (Committee on Carcinogenicity).

Recent Awards: BSME 2022 Editor of the Year Awards - Highly Commended;, shortlisted for Travel Media Awards, shortlisted for AITO Travel Writer of the Year 2022
